Yes, I realize that people have asked something similar. But, nothing’s worked for me. Earlier today I did a system restore, but in the middle, my computer shut off due to a bad battery/charger. When I restarted my computer, it popped up a message that said ‘Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.’ After wards, nothing loaded. I restarted again. Nothing. I tried safe mode, only to see the exact same message pop up, and the problem happen again. I tried another system restore through Advanced System Care. Nothing. I can get on the internet by opening task manager (ctrl+alt+delete), and new task. I can’t do the command ‘explorer.exe’ because the same message pops up. Same with some other commands. Regedit works, but the solution for many other people doesn’t seem to be connected to my problem. I can’t right click, either. I do NOT have the Windows CD. OS; Windows XP I tried Malwarebytes, and was 2 hours in when, yet again, my computer shut off! (: Can anyone help?

My brother just bought a new sony ar370n13 and it has vista and I am installing XP Pro for him and he keeps bragging that it is better then my Dell xps 2010 which it probable is anyways I want to scare the shit out of him. I can go to task manager and stop his iexplorer.exe to make all the icons and taskbar disappear but when he restarts they come back….So can I do a msconfig and stop iexplore.exe from starting at start-up and when he re-starts they still are not there….Then go to task manager again and in file add new file and add iexplore.exe so the taskbar and icons will reappear????????
