so, im looking to get a new laptop and have come to a point where i need to chose what i ACTUALLY need in a laptop. its primarily for school and then college/uni work, i.e. word powerpoint etc. also it’ll be used for facebook iplayer and the occasional downloaded movie/tv show. i have 2 options at the moment, i3-350 integrated graphics 2gb ram £50 more for i3-350 dedicated nVidia 310 graphics and a slightly bigger hdd 2gb ram £100 more than the FIRST option for an extra 2gb ram on top of the one above (so 50 pounds more for 2gb) question 1. do i need dedicated graphics? i have a ps3 for gaming, but will they come in use? question 2. should i go for an i5 processor (it’ll have to be without ded graphics) as im looking to future proof my laptop for at least a good few years, whats the main difference between i3-350 and i5-430 except from hyperthreading… and does that REALLY matter? question 3. is windows 7 with what im needing a laptop for with 2gb ram fine? is 50 quid worth the upgrade (i may be using some intensive programs like dreamweaver and fireworks etc. but not as a daily thing) FINAL QUESTION, what would you recommend? cheapest option/dedicated2gb/dedicated4gb/i5? i’d really really appreciate the help, thanks!

I have a white Macbook, Mac OS X version 10.6. I have just deleted a Powerpoint file , and it is a disaster. All of my lecture notes in class were gone with the slides because I picked the wrong file to delete. It is very important to me because I m going to have a big exam soon. I dont know whether there is any way to get it back. note that I didnt shut down my Macbook since I deleted the file. Please help me out! Thanks a lot!

how do get a sound to play at the beginning of a slide everytime i return to that slide here’s what i mean: Slide1–> Slide2(PLAYS SOUND)–> Slide3–> Slide4(LINKS BACK TO SLIDE2)–> Slide2(NO SOUND PLAYS)—> end slide how do i get it to play the sound again when i go back to slide2 ??? please help ^_^
