Virus On A New Computer?

i continue to get sexurity warnings for my computer saying that all these files are infected. did a full scan with mcafee, and it said there was one problem and it got resolved. but im still getting the pop ups saying “application cannot be executed “file name as in wuauclt.exe or trustedinstaller is infected. do you want to activate antivirus software now?” did a little research and the directions are to go into my task manager or to download a new software..but the virus wont let me do either, every time i try it pops up again and shuts it down. it also has made my adobe flashplayer stop working. it says it crashed. just lovely. i got this computer not even 1 month ago. its a windows 7 if that helps. i hope someone can help me!

Computer Monitor Problems?

My laptop monitor has completely failed so that I can’t see anything on the screen. i connected an external monitor but it is only used as the display during original start up and BIOS then it switches back to the main monitor. I have gotten around this by using safe mode but i can still only use basic processes. Is there a way i can tell my computer to only use the external monitor or disable the main monitor while in safe mode? I’m running vista on a acer aspire 5600, the monitor is connected using a VGA cable, i have tried two separate monitors using 3 separate VGA cables, i have also tried fn+f5 w/o safe mode. any suggestions?

Blue Screen That Keeps My Computer From Coming On?

My Acer laptop has McAfee anti-virus software that a few days ago prompted me to restart my computer to finish a system update. When it restarted my computer said loading windows and then flashed to a blue screen that said “windows is shutting down to prevent damage to computer” then restarted. It continues to do this and I can open my computer in safe mode only with no networking so I am unable to search windows troubleshooting for a solution. I have tried a system restore, done numerous virus scans, and deleted just about everything I can live without from my computer and still get this blue screen. I am considering doing a complete restore back to factory software. Before I do that I was curious to see if anyone else has had this problem and knows of a solution. Any advice would be much appreciated.
