How to install simple MS Windows XP Pro onto a new gateway m285-e SATA hard drive on my laptop. I am aware that the SATA hard drive driver is not supported with Windows XP thus the is external floppy and have tried downloading the file from the Gateway site but it says to click on a .exe file that does not exist which does not help. After checking the BIOS:

Went to bios–>system configuration–>SATA Native Support–>changed enabled to DISABLED option or anything around those lines and nothing came up.
