Gray screen on my Compaq C700 laptop and I also can hear windows opening in the background and also heard a voice tutorial on using the keyboard but there is nothing appear on the screen. Now the screen is half black and half deep red with weird horizontal lines or light gray and half dark gray with thick black line in the middle. How can I fix this gray screen error on the Compaq c700 notebook? The solution for this problem can be submitted in the comments section.

Unable to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player 10 Active X and also Adobe Flash 10 ActiveX 64-Bit from a Compaq laptop. Is there anything I can do to uninstall Adobe Flash program from my computer?

Please tell me how to format Compaq NX6110 laptop. The problem is after I have formatted the hard disk then I tried to install Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 using the HP OS CD. However as the installation progress it skip many files and for some unknown reasons it was unable to copy the files. Then I get blue screen error (fatal system error) after I tried to restart the laptop. I have tried to use different XP CD and change the boot order but the problem is exist. Sometimes there is a error BOOTMGR message. I tried Microsoft Windows 7 and the error pop ups “system32 missing”. Every time I try to start the computer again then it will display Windows XP restarting setup. Then when I use the XP XP CD to continue the Compaq NX6110 will continued the setup and then eventually the blue screen pops up.
